I've been experiencing overheating issues with my 2006 Nissan Titan for a very long time now since leaving it idle in our driveway one afternoon.
I had some suspicions on what could be the problem and I've tried fixing it myself. I've made a few replacements already - fan clutch, thermostat, water pump, radiator cap, and overflow cap. I've checked the radiator for clogs but it was flowing well, and I just had it replaced last year so it's pretty new. I've also done extensive system bleeding but nothing seemed to solve it.
My truck still overheats when it's idle but it cools down when I drive. I've just been taking it around the city for short drives and errands, 'coz I don't want another headache when it acts up while I'm out of town!
What could have gone wrong? Anybody else ran into a similar problem?
