This is my firs vehicle with led headlights and I may be overthinking this, but what happens if the leds start to go bad? Is there a way to replace them or the whole headlights needs to be changed?

bro, it's depends on the issue. If it's just the bulb, you can replace it. however, if lens is broken or the housing is damaged, you'll need to replace the entire unit

LEDs are pretty much long lasting but think of it like a sealed unit. If one part fails, the whole thing gets replaced to ensure that they're working properly
