Alright crew, need a little help before I snap something expensive.

got a '21 Titan pro4X (aka my proud pavement princess with off road dreams), and I decided to finally install the OEM fog light kit. I figured, "Hey, it's factory stuff, how hard could it be?" so heres the update: driver's side? smooth as butter, even felt like I was born to do this. Passenger side? oh no,hehe that's where the downward spiral began. The fog light looks like it's trying to escape the bumper, completely out of alignment and the bezel? yeah, not even close cos if I try to snap it in, it's gonna turn into a $40 piece of plastic confetti. I triple checked the bracket, tried wiggling things, gave it the ol' "maybe it'll settle if I stare at it hard enough" trick....nothing.
So… is there a way to adjust the fog light housing or bracket? or did Nissan just assume we'd all install these in the dark and not notice? advice or hilarious horror stories welcome. I'd rather laugh through this than cry over broken plastic
PS: I'm crying

Definitely wouldn't be the first time something OEM fits like a knockoff. You might have to take the bumper cover partially off to see what's going on behind there. If it's off even a few millimeters, the bezels won't snap in clean.
