Axle rebuild and custom mods

After my rear axle blew, I rebuilt it with new parts but had to make my own gears since the ones I needed were only in the U.S. After about 5,280 miles, I found broken teeth and decided to swap to a GM 14-bolt Full Float (3.73) axle. I did custom work to fit it, including 6-to-8 lug conversion and brake mods, but the 35" tires didn't fit, so I had to do some "hammer work." Now I need to regear the front axle and finish up the body work
 
You've done some serious engineering magic! Regearing the front axle will get everything spinning harmoniously and keep wear in check. What's next on the mod list?

Regearing the front axle is the next smart step, after that, I'm thinking of upgrading the suspension and maybe adding a custom exhaust
 
Man, that's absolutely the perfect follow up. The custom exhaust would add some personality. Are you aiming for better performance or chasing that deep growl?

I am chasing that deep growl and I also want the performance boost too, but the sound is what I'm really after with the exhaust

Good job on making the upgrade, but I'm interested to know how long the upgrade will last. My question is if it would be worth it?
