Titan 2013 catch a transmission issue

My buddy has the same truck as me, he got a few a questions about his truck's transmission.

He loves his Titan very much, and yeah, I know the V8 engine is awesome, he couldn't stop talking about it

But lately, his gearbox is kinda acting up when it shifts gears.
It's happening in all of them, but going from 2nd to 3rd is the roughest.

Also, when he floored it to make it kick down, it did it super jerkily.

The transmission fluid looks okay, still nice and red.

Does anyone have any ideas or have seen this before? All advice is welcome. Thanks!

Your buddy's Titan might need a closer look at the shift solenoids/throttle position sensor as these can cause rough gear changes. Has he checked for any error codes or considered a tx reflash?

Solenoid issue definitely, or could be a valve body issue starting to show. It's time to scan for codes and see if you're gonna need some updates or something.
