Remove chrome accents

I love my Nissan Titan, but I'ma person that hates chrome accents, especially on any black vehicle, so I want to get rid of it, but I'm not sure how. I know there's an option to take it a shop and have wrapped or I can strip and paint myself. The problem with he second option is that I'm not sure how happy the dealer will be with this and if it would void my warranty.

I totally get wanting to de-chrome it, and wrapping is the safest route since it is removable and warranty-friendly. I really do think painting could look great, but it might raise issues with the dealer, so I'd go with wrap to play it safe.
